The latest breaking updates, delivered straight to your email inbox.

Matthew 25: Ministries, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, is responding to severe wildfires sweeping across Maui, the second-largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago.

Dangerous wildfires devastated parts of Maui this week, ravaging island communities, including the historic town of Lahaina, a National Historic Landmark and former capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Dozens of people have lost their lives in what is considered one of the deadliest U.S. wildfires in recent years and thousands have been displaced. Hawaii was experiencing drought conditions when a nearby hurricane brought high winds with gusts over 60 mph sweeping across the islands, burning vegetation and then spreading into more populated areas, knocking out power lines and decimating communities. Hundreds of buildings in Lahaina and other towns have been damaged or destroyed.

Matthew 25: Ministries is shipping a container of essential supplies such as personal care kits, baby supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies, first aid and safety kits, personal protective equipment and more to areas impacted by the wildfires.

Matthew 25 is requesting monetary and product donations to supplement existing supplies and for restocking during their response to this current and future disasters.

Those wanting to donate monetarily can donate online here or mail checks to "Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242."

The following product donations will be accepted at the facility.
